Virgin cold pressed coconut oil

What is a coconut oil? This is unique product made from coconut flesh using press-separation-filtering technology.

At the first stage fresh coconut flesh is shredded and pressed. It is possible to heat coconut pulp during this process and got more oil. But it’s quality will be low. It’s why during manufacturing Thainess coconut oil we do not heat it, and produced cold pressed virgin coconut oil saves all the valuable vitamins, minerals and medium-chain fatty acids.

However liquid which we got after pressing is still not an oil. Need to remove water from it and filter. Traditional way to do this is just leave liquid for a while, and then oil will gather on top of water. But this method couldn’t fully separate water from oil. It’s why coconut oil made using such home made technology is very watery. Moreover, while allowing freshly pressed liquid to stand it contacts with oxygen long time. Separation oil and water also possible using some chemicals, but product couldn’t be natural and healthy. Therefore while manufacturing Thainess coconut oil we use centrifuge for separation: freshly pressed liquid is spinning with high speed. As a result oil and water separate in a natural way, but much more faster in comparison with traditional solution settling.

Thus, thanks to improvement of traditional method with modern technology it become possible to produce high quality natural product not contaminated with any unwanted impurities. The entire process producing Thainess coconut oil from fresh coconuts takes only few hours. It’s why natural cold pressed Thainess coconut oil has tender consistency, delicate aroma and excellent taste. But the most important: our oil contains a lot of valuable nutrients.

While other oils and fats contain poly-unsaturated (C18-C22), mono-unsaturated (C18) and long-chain saturated (C14-C18) fatty acids, coconut oil rich with medium-chain saturated fatty acids (C8-C12), especially lauric acid (12:0). Lauric acid which is also found in mother breast milk has a lot of beneficial features: it strengthen immune system, protects from harmful microbes, normalizes cholesterol level in the blood and reduce risk of cardiovascular diseases. Together with capric (decanoic) acid, caprylic acid and other micro-elements found in coconut oil, the lauric acid boosts metabolism helping to reduce excess weight.

It might sounds incredible, nut it’s true: while you are eating “fatty” coconut oil, you reduce storage body fat. Only 1 tablespoon of Thainess coconut oil before breakfast daily helps you to quickly improve your health and gradually reduce excess weight. Unlike other oils (for example, olive oil) coconut oil has no unpleasant “fatty” taste, so you can take it raw. But if you dress fruit or vegetable salad with Thainess coconut oil you will get even more benefits.

Coconut oil is not only healthy food, it is also just delicious product. Thainess coconut oil can be used in ice-cream, custard, bakery and variety of other dishes.

Depending on the temperature, coconut oil can have varying appearances. Coconut oil is liquid above 75 degrees F. (25℃), and below that it will be a solid fat.
